Background

Ilan Kapnek received his B.A. in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University before attending law school at Florida State University College of Law. In law school, he developed an interest in financial regulation, bankruptcy, and consumer law.

Ilan has represented hundreds of clients in Chapters 7 & 13 bankruptcies in the Metro Atlanta area and focuses exclusively on Consumer Bankruptcy law. As an attorney, he sees himself as an advocate and problem-solver for clients. He tries to craft creative solutions for their issues and is committed to ensuring the best attainable outcome.

He lives with his wife, his son, and their dog in Atlanta's Kirkwood neighborhood. When not practicing law, he tries to find time to hone his skills in carpentry and woodworking. He is an avid reader, loves trivia, and enjoys traveling with his family.
